Welcome!! The idea for Hustlestop came about in 2020 after rethinking what I experienced over many decades as a client of hair and nail salons in different parts of the country and all price points. I am a Newton resident who works full-time (+) as a lawyer in Boston and have volunteered countless hours to non-profit groups that are near-and-dear to my heart while juggling other demands on my time. Like many people, I don't have the luxury of free time  or a static schedule, but I know that taking care of myself needs to be a top priority - no excuses. I wanted to find a way to save time + remove the stress  of basic self-care regimens like hair and nails and truly enjoy the process + relax, all while prioritizing services and products that were cleaner alternatives to those commonly used in the industry. And with that, Hustlestop was born.

Designing this business from scratch has also introduced me to countless amazing people and upstart "not famous yet" brands with innovative products from all over the country (and other parts of the world) that are truly changing the industry. Maria is a graduate of Elizabeth Grady and has dedicated her career to helping others feel and look their best - inside and out. She offers everything from bridal and special event makeup to natural, glowy looks. Waxing is also her speciality, including eyebrow shaping to ensure they always complement your face and enhance your natural features.

For Maria, beauty is more than just appearance. It’s about confidence, self-care, and feeling comfortable in your own skin. Her goal is to bring out your natural features, share her knowledge, and make sure you leave feeling beautiful, refreshed, and empowered.

Marta has more than two decades of experience as a licensed massage therapist. Her passion is massage combined with Energy work and the healing power and positive impact it can have on clients’ lives. Marta's areas of expertise are Muscular Therapy (Deep Tissue and Swedish), Myofascial Release (Unwinding Technique), and Reiki. She will guide you toward the most beneficial blend of relaxation and therapeutic touch combined with stretching to customize your session to what you want and need.

Marta uses multiple modalities to address pain, improve mobility and promote overall relaxation. Stretching and unwinding the fascia help the muscle to release on a deeper level to bring overall well-being to the body that will be longer lasting. Her goal is for clients to leave feeling relaxed, balanced, refreshed and more connected to their bodies.

We are excited to welcome Luckie, who has been in the hair industry for over 25 years. She obtained her license from Blaine Beauty School and started her career on Newbury Street. She is trained in Kevin Murphy, Redken, Wella, Bumble and Bumble NYC (curly cutting), Precision Cutting and Keratin.

She can handle all hair textures and specializes in color and lightening techniques including Balayage, Ombre and Highlighting as well as all blonde tones. Color has always been her passion and she delights in bringing out the best look in her clients when it comes to hair.

She strives to educate herself in all things hair and believes that communication is the key to achieving the look that best suits each client and their lifestyle.

Luckie is also a Cezanne certified professional.

Lisa has over 25 years of experience and is a graduate of Learning Institute of Beauty. She started her own nail businesses, first Nails Plus by Lisa then ManiPro@Work, which currently provides efficient and professional nail services in the workplace and now home services. She is a true professional who will make fabulous (and healthy) nails easy to attain (and maintain).

Lisa is also a Dazzle Dry certified professional and has been performing this service for years.
